I currently work as an OT and the clinical director in a senior living facility in Oxnard, CA. My expertise lies in the older adult population; however, I have experience in acute care, outpatient pediatrics, and community mental health. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Occupational Science in 2019. In 2022, I earned my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from California State University Dominguez Hills after a very non-traditional graduate school experience (I’m looking at you, Global Pandemic).

OTYourLife takes an occupational therapy approach to healthy living with curated content and coaching provided by yours truly. I am happy to share my knowledge and expertise with the hope we can connect and I can learn from you too!

I’m Cristina, passionate about healthy living, self-improvement, and connecting with others. I pursued a career in occupational therapy (OT) and created OT Your Life to support people, communities, and populations to reach their full health and wellness potential.

Growing up in Southern California, I spent my time being active through sports, exploring nature, and doing what children do best—play! Similarly, I regularly experimented with new artistic mediums and creative projects. These occupations—or meaningful activities—from my childhood carried me into adulthood and ultimately lead me to a career in OT, where the synergy of individual factors, environment, and occupation is the root of our profession.

“Occupational therapy is more than a job. For many it is a calling. We felt drawn to it.”
